Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Compound mobile application (the "App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

Service Description

Compound is a daily trajectory tracking application. Each day, you answer one question — "Did you move closer today to who you want to be?" — with one of three responses: Closer, Same, or Further. Your answers are recorded over time and visualized as a trajectory chart.

The App is a personal reflection tool. It is not a medical device, therapeutic tool, or substitute for professional medical, psychological, or psychiatric advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

Account Registration

To use the App, you must create an account using one of the supported sign-in methods (Apple, Google, or Email Link). You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

You must provide accurate information when creating your account. You may not create an account on behalf of someone else without their permission.

User Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the App or its systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the App's infrastructure
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the App
• Use automated systems or bots to access the App

Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, code, graphics, interface, and content (excluding user data), is owned by Compound and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on the App without our prior written consent.

Your Data

You own your data. Your daily trajectory entries and any associated information belong to you. We store your data to provide the service and do not claim ownership of it.

You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from within the App's Settings. For details on how we handle your data, see our Privacy Policy.

Disclaimers

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Specifically:

• The App does not provide medical, psychological, or psychiatric advice
• The App is not a substitute for professional mental health care
• We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure
• We are not responsible for any decisions you make based on your use of the App

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Compound and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from:

• Your use of or inability to use the App
• Any unauthorized access to or use of our servers and/or any personal information stored therein
• Any interruption or cessation of the service

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice. You may stop using the App and delete your account at any time.

Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive, including ownership, warranty disclaimers, and limitations of liability.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms within the App or on our website. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Compound operates, without regard to conflict of law principles.
